I wanted to share with you one of my favorite smoothie recipes.
Right after I had Cash I had so many extreme cravings. I hardly ever "craved" anything while I was actually pregnant, it was afterwards that the cravings kicked in. If you've ever nursed, you know that breastfeeding makes you extremely hungry ALL THE TIME! (At least for me!)
I try to eat healthy, so when I was craving something sweet I thought it would be better to drink a smoothie than eat a pint of ice cream. I also was obsessed with oatmeal at the time so when I came across a recipe for a smoothie with oatmeal in it I was sold.
I literally made this smoothie every day for about 5 months. I had to take a break for a while, otherwise I might have turned into a blueberry.
It's very simple to make. Just follow these steps:
First get your ingredients ready. You will need:
1 Cup of Frozen Blueberries
1/2 Cup of Oats
1/2 TBS of Raw Honey
1 Cup of Almond Milk
* You may substitute raw honey for regular honey // You can also use cows milk
First, blend up the oats until they turn into a powder.
Next, add remaining ingredients & blend to desired consistency.
Pour & enjoy!
